Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Application Security Architect to add security focus into every aspect of the software development life cycle. This position will interface with the development, testing and corporate security groups to ensure the team delivers a security compliant, robust and reliable product. The ideal candidate will have a software development background.

In this role you will act as:
Information security subject matter expert and security point of contact. You will be responsible for the design and architecture of security into our Hospitality Products and work with the security lead and corporate security teams to develop and implement security features into the applications.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze, and evaluate both internally developed software and vendor products and procedures to address security requirements.
• Responsible for the evaluation of new technologies, tools, and/or development techniques that impact security.
• Drive the software security certification process for the organization. Coordinate and manage the process interfacing with the corporate security and cloud operations organizations.
• Maintain development security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform on-going security code and testing review to improve software security
• Perform security risk analysis for products and portfolio.
• Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to all levels of the architecture, and maintain security documentation.
• Develop and deliver consistent automated metrics covering aspects of the security program.
• Provide security guidelines for the organization to protect critical assets and data.
• Responsible for compliance status for all components in each major release, and for the security assurance of the components.

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of Java software development experience in developing and delivering large scale 3-tier applications. This includes identifying vulnerability classes on the OWASP Periodic Table of Vulnerabilities and applying threat management techniques. You should also have:

• Hands on experience with encryption, cryptographic standards, communication protocols, security standards and vulnerabilities.
• Working knowledge of web and mobile application development and security vulnerabilities

• Strong familiarity with multiple software security paradigms, with CISSP, CISA, OSCP or other information security certifications.
• Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Understanding of attack vectors, exploits, and hacking tools.
• Experience with various security tools and products (Fortify, AppScan, Burp Suite).
• Experience with Enterprise Cloud Software environments preferred.
• Knowledge of web related technologies
• BS in Computer Science or similar technical field.
• 5 years proven work experience as a software security engineer.

Qualifications:
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
