Responsible for programming a feature and or a small feature set. Contributes to the team and works with direction from Senior Team Members or management, beginning to work independently.
In this role, you will:
+ Take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.
+ Demonstrate the ability to help team members through pair programming and code reviews.
+ Demonstrate awareness about product positioning and differentiations.
+ Evaluate basic technology choices and articulate tradeoffs.
+ Apply principles of SDLC and Lean/Agile/XP/TDD/CI/CD methodologies to deliver high quality, secured, and scalable software modules.
+ Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
+ Skilled in core data structures and algorithms and implements them using language of choice. Is eager to learn and are aware of security domain (identity, access management, audit, crypto principles, etc.).
+ Bachelor's degree in STEM, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT or IS.
+ GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

+ Must be willing to work out of an office located in New Orleans, LA
+ A general understanding of supporting technologies including SOAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, HTTP, XML, LDAP, SQL, and XACML.
+ Experience with IAM solutions like Cyber-Ark, Ping Identity, Siteminder, Attribute Exchange Network
+ Experience with Java / NodeJS / Go / PHP / Python / Ruby
+ Spring and Maven exposure
+ Working knowledge of OWASP Web/API vulnerabilities and compensating controls (CSRF, XSS, SQLI, etc.)
+ Familiarity with encryption fundamentals: PKI, Encryption, Digital Signatures & Key Management
+ Software development cycle and automated testing experience (TDD/BDD)
+ Working knowledge of source control tools such as CVS/SVN /Git , with preference for Git
+ Strong development background, with a focus on secure development.
+ Knowledge of API Security Architecture
+ Working knowledge of Cloud Provider security architecture design patterns
+ Great communication, team spirit, and leadership abilities\#DTR
