Essential Function/Duties:

*Receives and prepares specimens for analysis according to specifications related to the type of specimen.
*Performs routine screening of Gyn and Non-Gyn Cytology specimens.
*Assists in the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens.
*Conducts quality control procedures as needed.
*Results and electronically signs out appropriate Cytology reports.
Minimum Qualifications:

*Education: Bachelor's Degree in biological science and graduation from an accredited Cytotechnology
training program.

*Licensure: Certification as a Cytotechnologist with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP).
