The Data Analyst is responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of internal and external data processes and deliverables. This includes timely resolution of data issues for all customers. Ad-hoc data requests may be assigned by the Manager of Data Services. This position requires strong time management, organizational, and communication skills, with an emphasis on leading the translation of business requirements into solutions. T-SQL programming experience is required for this role; reporting experience is also desired. Good understanding of ETL techniques is valuable.

The ideal candidate would combine experience with large datasets (SQL Server preferred), proficient T-SQL knowledge, reporting tools, and business understanding to analyze data and processes to identify and correct anomalies and errors in our business transactions with clients/external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with business analysts, programmer analysts, and process owners to identify opportunities, define business requirements, and assist in designing and implementing solutions to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Take responsibility for full life-cycle project from analysis to development to delivery of solutions
• Modify existing processes to improve operational efficiency of the entire data processing team
• Perform data mining and aggregation, combining multiple datasets to develop streamlined and efficient solutions for internal and external parties
• Perform data validation and analysis to ensure accuracy and quality of data
• Handle data conversion, data cleansing, production report generation, and scheduled data delivery standards
• Contribute to documentation initiatives as needed
• Contribute to group knowledge and best practices

Required Qualifications:
•Minimum three years’ business experience in a complimentary role.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience using business intelligence tools to build effective dashboards preferred, particularly Tableau.

*Health Care or Pharmaceutical industry experience.

*Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals.

*Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

*Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

*Professional competency writing SQL queries required, and experience working SQL Server Management Studio preferred.

*Extensive knowledge of mathematics, basic statistical tests and tools and their correct application as well as software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint), data analysis, quality and some financial data background.

*1 or more years experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
