The candidate is responsible to analyse the result of closed loop control tests on animal subjects and come up with different ideas to improve the stability and safety of the system. Required Highly competitive MS or PhD students (CS, ME, EE, BME) Creative and self-motivated Algorithm development Strong MATLAB programming skills and Simulink Data simulation for algorithm validation Machine learning techniques Oral and written communication skills including presentation Basic understanding of Physiology and respiratory systems Familiar with mechanical ventilators Estimation theory System identification Linear system theory
