Data Center Supervisor Adecco is partnering with HomeGoods, a TJX Company, to fill multiple Supervisor roles for their brand new Tucson Distribution Center opening in 2016. Desired Qualifications The Data Center Supervisor position is vital to the success of the business due to the versatility of the position. A qualified candidate should be highly organized. The position is responsible for maintaining SOX compliance and retaining accurately filed documentation that will be required to be recalled. The candidate should be flexible as they will also be responsible for supply receipt, inventory, systemic processing, and delivery. Computer literacy is needed as the position is responsible for SCAN. WMS experience would be a plus. The associate should also have a general knowledge of IT hardware. The supervisor will need to do minor printer and ticket cutter maintenance. Tasks Check the Data Center backlog at the beginning of 1st and 2nd shift and staff accordingly. If backlogs require additional associates, partner with operations team to secure additional resources. Complete Distro Packet Audits daily to ensure accuracy and FIFO expectations are being met. Ensure ticket and store label print quality meets expectations daily. Enter new hires in SCAN from the Orientation List given by HR on Monday. Create/modify SCAN user profiles as they are received. Notify supervisor with UserID and password for user profiles requested. Delete termed associates and user profiles from SCAN on Monday from the previous week (after extraction completed). Respond to emails from GITIS regarding SCAN user profile changes or deletions. Run Tags report and ReadyDesk history on Monday to create ReadyDesk report for the previous week. Make any changes or additions to ReadyDesk when needed. Give coaching and counseling to data center associates if any errors are found or reported. Ensure data center associates are following cash register procedures checking ticket scan ability. Diagnose printer or cutting machine issues. Resolve equipment issues promptly if possible. Place a service call with SATO if unable to resolve. Log all service calls placed with SATO for contract purposes. Investigate SCAN or TAGS issues that have been reported and resolve promptly. Refer to SCAN or TAGS resolution guides for assistance. If issues cannot be resolved locally, open a ticket with the Service Desk and notify the Business Analyst. Inventory Data Center supplies and complete supply request form on Tuesday/Thursday. Update store wave codes in TAGS when requested. Update the store label request form for new store openings or transfers as needed. Coordinate with data center associates to print special labels needed for the warehouse (JIT labels, 2 Carton Item labels, AD labels, etc.). Responsible for daily monitoring of supplies. Partner with the Pick Loops daily for delivery of boxes at the beginning and end of 1st shift. Retrieve supply requests and supply cage key on Tuesday/Thursday morning and give to supply driver for delivery. Coordinate with bulk supervisor/driver to unload corrugate/supply trailers daily. Complete Warehouse Supply Receipt Form and attach packing list for supplies received. Functions as a backup for systemic supply updating in Oracle. Functions as Systems Support Specialist backup and has the availability to be on call in case of a SCAN or systems outage. Qualifications: High School graduate, College Degree preferred or equivalent work experience Flexibility to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interpret and communicate policies & procedures clearly Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word & Excel) Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with business partners, associates, union representatives and management Supply chain, distribution, and/or manufacturing background are preferred Bi-lingual is a plus Shift Flexibility (1st/2nd/3rd) is desired We are also interested in speaking with candidates with the following backgrounds: Military (Supply Chain/Distribution), Manufacturing, Restaurant Managers, Airline Industry, Recent College Graduates, and Call Center Supervisors.
