OfficeTeam currently has an excellent opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated Data Entry Specialist in the Higher Education industry who is looking to start their career with us! We are looking for a data-driven guru who has great attention to detail and looking to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment. You will be expected to have developed intermediate experience in Excel and proficiency in database management. Do you have fast and accurate typing skills and impeccable organization? Then we have a position for you. This short term temporary Data Entry Specialist role is based in the San Diego, California area. Your responsibilities - Preparing data for computer entry by assembling and organizing information; creating entry priorities - Processing customer and account source documents by reviewing information and identifying issues - Aiding the company in data entry and additional administrative tasks - Working with highly confidential materials - Continuing operations in accordance with policies and procedures; communicating needed changes - Assisting with special projects as required - Acting in accordance with data program techniques and procedures to ensure data entry requirements are met Requirements: - Comprehensive knowledge of data entry - Knowledge of copying - Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and customer database systems
