Position Description
Processes requests from the field to add or alter data elements pertaining to items, customers, vendors and / or pricing. Researches and verifies data to substantiate request validity. Maintains data file in terms of integirty.  Responsible for gathering, coordinating, and processing data from the provider network for entry into the Provider Database.  Recommends corrective actions and may recommend enhancements to improve data integrity.

Minimum Requirements
Entry level experience

Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • 3+ years healthcare claims adjudication experience (includes dental, hospital & physician)
  • MS Office – Excel and Access
  • Must possess excellent organization and planning skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform them both accurately and timely.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate in clear, concise terms to internal and external customers.
Education
Completion of a high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
