A successful candidate must have a strong background in machine learning. Desired skills include deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and model development. The candidate must be able to work in a challenging, dynamic environment with multiple interactions across teams with different backgrounds ranging from product development to research.
Model development and evaluation
Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
Provide actionable insights on how to improve our services.
Connect findings and recommendations to business initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders at various management levels
1+ years of experience in machine learning is required.
A graduate degree is required (Ph.D. is preferred) in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics or a related field
Preferred, not required Qualifications:
Deep knowledge of data science algorithms and modeling process
Working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining and experience with big data technologies such as Azure Data Lake, HD Insight, Spark, Hive, etc.
Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end model development including identifying and testing alternative models, gathering data from various sources, knowledge of publicly available data sources, familiarity with typical corporate data management systems and tools such as SQL.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems
Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with Power BI
