Current Need

McKesson is seeking a Data Steward to join our team in Richmond, VA. 

 

Position Description

The Data Steward role develops, maintains, and supports product content for McKesson’s Product Data Hub (PDH) system and B2B website.  This role is responsible for the attribution and maintenance of product content that supports and improves online customer experience and internal customer goals and programs.  These goals are accomplished through team collaboration and metrics driven goals. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze product data
  • Attribute and improve product content for McKesson’s B2B online catalog
  • Update product images
  • Meet and support team metric goals

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
Entry level experience in clinical/healthcare field, computer applications, or business analysis.

Critical Skills
  • 2+ years experience with data management applications
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office
Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team
  • Beginner to intermediate Adobe Photoshop desired
  • SQL or Microsoft Access experience desired
  • General knowledge of product information management software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation/computer skills
  • Results oriented; effective as both a team member and independent worker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with deliverables completed on time and with high quality
Education
4-year degree in nursing or healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
