Job Title: Delivery Associate
The primary function of the Delivery Associate is to support delivery activities. This includes inspecting merchandise prior to loading and delivery, preparing merchandise and loads for delivery, supporting planned delivery routes, verifying invoices against items loaded, and assisting product connections or returns. The Delivery Associate is responsible for unloading, connecting, and checking products and equipment. The Delivery Associate is also responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner. It is critically important that the Delivery Associate execute all tasks while following Lowe's safety procedures. Lastly, the Delivery Associate is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.
Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Required to work a pre-determined schedule, but may be changed by management based on business needs. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or 10 to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on business needs.
This position reports to a Coach and does not have direct reports.
