General Description/Purpose

The primary function of the Delivery Coordinator is to perform actions needed to support effective delivery function. This includes verifying route coordination, moving stock, and following procedures for damaged inventory. The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for 3-Day Call Logs, validating Customer Experience through use of delivery satisfaction surveys, and providing customer feedback through the proper channels. The Delivery Coordinator is also responsible for loading the delivery truck and safely operating power equipment. The Delivery Coordinator is required to maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping areas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft or security risks. Lastly, the Delivery Coordinator is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week. Required to work a pre-determined schedule, but may be changed by management based on business needs. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time or Part Time. Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or 10-25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on business needs.

Scope

This position reports to a Support Manager-Back End and does not have direct reports, but provides guidance to other hourly associates.

Ability to Lift 41 - 50 lbs +: Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent AND 1 year customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of stocking/receiving/inventory experience

1 year customer contact experience

3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment. (e.g lifts)
