Demand Generation Representative in Cyber Security - SecureWorks
SecureWorks is a global leader in providing intelligence-driven information security solutions. We play an important role, as no organization in the world is immune from cyberattacks and the nature of the attack is changing every day. Internet security is a problem that will never be solved. Unlike point products that address a specific technology issue, we attack the problem holistically by analyzing threat actor tactics, techniques and procedures, and develop solutions using best-of-breed technologies to protect our clients. We are one of the best in the world at understanding the threat.
In short, we give our clients an early warning capability. SecureWorks was founded in 1999 and headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., with offices in all the major security markets around the globe. We have more than 2,000 team members, and partner with more than 4,200 clients in 59 countries to keep the bad guys out of their networks. We’ve been consistently recognized by industry analysts, readers’ polls and as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for managed security services, worldwide.
Our Demand Generation team is the most successful launch pad for a sales career here. Daily, you will focus on building your knowledge, experience and reputation as a credible resource in the cyber security industry. As a great Demand Generation Representative, you are key to our success in new business sales contact activities positioning SecureWorks to public service business lines (including educational and government public services).
As a Demand Generation Rep (DGR) you have the opportunity to excel at the following sales motion activities: initiating prospect relationships via telephone, enabling value driven conversations and driving customer/prospect interest throughout the early stages of the sales cycle, and then partnering with field sales on appropriate sales activities to achieve revenue quota objectives.
Your success drives our company's growth, and is supported by ongoing training programs to help structure your continuous learning and by teaming with specific field sales representatives and territories.
Successful DGRs initiate, maintain and master on-going relationships with each prospect via daily outbound cold calls, on the basis that each communication provides value to the prospect:
-Understand the prospect’s business and information security environment
-Articulate clearly a technical acumen and understanding to each prospect
-Intuitively and proactively understand the prospect's concerns, and facilitate escalation to the appropriate Direct Sales team resources
-Position and match SecureWorks capabilities to each prospect's business driver and challenges
-Be perceived as a prospect advocate/peer to ensure all potential service objectives will be addressed and met
-Enable a positive sales experience with all prospects
-Grow revenues for assigned territory by identifying potential Managed Security Services and
Professional Services opportunities
