An outstanding growth opportunity exists for a candidate with a finance background to join the growing Derivatives Middle Office.  The Derivatives Middle Office Analyst will be an integral member of the Product Control Group that provides trade support including trade confirmation, allocation, validation, valuation reconciliation, and product control.  The individual will work within a team environment to contribute to the Product Control Group’s initiatives and ongoing projects.  Responsibilities, given below, are well integrated into a strong, collaborative, group environment that encourages self-development, as well as striving for success as a team.    



  • Provide coverage for General Account and Variable Annuity derivative trading desks for both International and Domestic
  • Responsible for providing assistance on the collateral management process
  • Responsible for assisting with derivative trade confirmation process
  • Responsible for assisting in the daily position and market value reconciliations of Murex and Blackrock, Murex and Numerix and Murex and Tri-Optima
  • Responsible for processes and procedures of trade confirmation and daily position and market value reconciliation 
  • Conduct due diligence for research projects and investigations of a specialized nature as requested by senior management and external auditors


  • 1+ years of experience with derivatives operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Strong derivatives product knowledge in addition to familiarity with Markitwire, Murex and Blackrock Aladdin
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills
