To undertake such a huge task, we need a Desktop Support that will be a solid contributor and leader. The Desktop Support individual will provide onsite computer support to Vivint Solar employees at the Thanksgiving Point location. They will also provide phone support to Vivint Solar remote sites across the United States.

You'll change the world by...
  • Providing Hardware and Software support for desktop/laptop computers.
  • Being responsible for the imaging and deployment of desktop/laptop computers.
  • Maintaining and deploying network printers.
  • Supporting and configuring cell phones.
  • Maintaining and patching computers with the latest updates in order to increase performance and reliability.
  • Maintaining an inventory of all computer assets.
  • Documenting and training users on common problems and their solutions.
  • Creating and maintaining user's accounts.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting network problems.
  • Being responsible for escalating and triaging critical IT issues.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and via email.
You'll know you're ready if you...
  • Advanced knowledge of windows operating systems.
  • Experience with MAC OS.
  • Experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience with Google apps and Okta.
  • 3+ years of computer hardware/software experience.
  • Call Center experience desirable.
  • Working knowledge of PC's with intermediate keyboard skills; Microsoft Excel and Word.
One more'll be required to submit to a criminal history check, drug screening, and obtain clearance from the state based upon the state requirements.
