Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst who is able to convey complicated technical information to non-technical users in a simple and concise format. This Desktop Support Analyst role is short term temporary in nature and is based in the New York, New York, area. Responsibilities - Administer computer desktop support to local remote locations in accordance with established policies and procedures - Keep an eye on equipment inventory and participate with others on potential purchases - Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Make certain the soundness of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Lead and execute technology implementation projects - Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions - Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors - Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals - Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
