Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst in Downtown Sacramento to join the IT Team of one of the largest multinational engineering and design firms! In this Desktop Support role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software within the company. The Desktop Support Analyst will also be the first line of defense for employees who are experiencing computer issues. Working in a collaborative environment, the Desktop Support Analyst will be tasked with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software. This includes PCs, desk phones, mobile devices, printers, and network equipment used by 450+ end-users. Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone, so the ideal candidate will be self-motivated and customer-centric. Requirements for the Desktop Support Analyst: • 3+ years' experience in computer networks and systems maintenance • 3+ years' experience supporting Win 7 • 1+ years' experience supporting Win 10 • 2+ years' experience supporting Exchange or O365 • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required Client is looking to move quickly!
