Robert Half Technology is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long term temporary in nature and is based in the San Jose, California, area. Responsibilities - Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities - Own and carry out technology implementation projects - Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Uphold the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Trace equipment inventory and team up on potential purchases - Administer computer desktop support to local remote locations in accordance with established policies and procedures - Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions - Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors - Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
