This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a long term temporary-to-fulltime opportunity, is located in the Chesapeake, Virginia, area. Responsibilities - Track equipment inventory and work with others on potential purchases - Make certain the soundness of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors - Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Provide computer desktop support to local remote locations in accordance with established policies and procedures - Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions - Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities - Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Lead and execute technology implementation projects - Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
