Robert Half Technology is seeking a Desktop Support Team Lead who is able to convey complicated technical information to non-technical users in a simple and concise format. This role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. This Desktop Support Team Lead role is long term temporary-to-fulltime in nature and is based in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. What you get to do every day - Oversee and accomplish technology implementation projects - Review equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases - Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems - Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals - Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities - Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters - Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions - Provide computer desktop support to local remote locations in accordance with established policies and procedures - Establish the accuracy of all electronic data records by following company quality standards - Arrange hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
