Our client is looking for 5 desktop technicians to join their team at their new headquarters in Madison, NJ for a 6 month contract to hire.

We are looking for a desktop technician coming from a technical environment who has provided level 2 desk side support to end users. This includes general hardware as well as software troubleshooting. The resource should expect to see wifi and password resets, email connectivity, Windows 7, AD, and outlook issues. If the resource is HDI or ITIL certified, that is a plus. Any service desk experience is a plus.

It is extremely important that these resources have great soft skills. They need to be welcoming and upbeat as employees will be coming to them with their IT issues. It is integral that each individual has great customer service skills and is able to remain patient with working with customers.

He or she must have excellent troubleshooting skills as well. This resource will be the first impression that these employees get of the IT department. If they aren't able to troubleshoot on the spot, they will be able to escalate any issues to a more technical member of the team.
