Desktop Support Technician

Our client is a Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 10 environment. There are also iPhones, iPads, thin clients and citrix boxes, and printers that will need to be troubleshot from time to time.

Andover is their manufacturing site -football field and a half - 3 other buildings on the campus that aren't attached and expanding
* Working tickets and hit the ground running is important
* Andover and Tewksbury are both extremely busy
* Common ticket trends - blue screens, outlook issues, office application issues, monitor issues - not getting signals (docking station issues)
* Tewksbury - population is about 3000 - executive white glove support
* Andover - 5000 and increasing to 7000 by middle of 2018

Core Technologies:
* Windows 7, Windows 10, SCCM - packaging and imaging, Outlook, familiarity with one note,
* Knowledgeable about smartphones - a few mac but its rare, linux is common - especially for the Andover site
* Active Directory, adding groups, creating/deleting user accounts,
* Microsoft Office Experience
* Team breakdown Break/fix techs and refresh tech's
* Refresh - imaging, creating objects, creating groups in AD, install image, backup user data and upload to new device
* Boot up with a CD and pick what image is needed and upload
