Desktop Support positions are key to the quality resolution of client service requests which includes but is not limited PC hardware and operating systems, software application installation, configuration, and upgrades.
-Continuously images machines via SCCM
-Handles new hire workstation set-ups
-Maintains passwords (Active Directory), data integrity and file system security.
-Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems
-Uses remote tools (Bomgar, RDP, Skype for business) to support geographically dispersed employees.
-Proactively identifies process gaps and recommends solutions.
-Hardware and Software inventory tracking and management via HP Asset Center.
- Provides provisioning and support for tablets, smart phones, and iPads.
-Work as a team member to collaboratively resolve client requests and technical issues with other team members, partners and vendors.
-Document all trouble tickets via Remedy with clear, concise explanations in a timely and accurate manner ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures.
-Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided.
-Determine the scope of the trouble ticket and the responsible department.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
-Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience required
-Ideal skills include ability to learn and use professional concepts
-Appropriate other certifications such as A+, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA are not required but are highly desirable.
-Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
-Familiar with Windows 7, Windows 10 and MAC OS.
-Experience with Office 365, Skype, VOIP, Remedy, HP Asset Center, provisioning Tablets and Smart Phones beneficial.
