  • 1-2 years of desktop/helpdesk support experience (remote troubleshooting, software upgrades, hardware repair)
  • Ability to resolve issues over the phone from a remote location (providing support for the retail stores)

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Support Point of Sale hardware for 3000 + stores in a remote environment.
  • Point of sale hardware. Examples: Register printers, registers, servers, Cherry Keyboards, laser printers, phone and RF.



  • Must be able to resolve issues over the phone and use remote tools to repair problems.
  • Identifying problems or issues and breaking down the information to come up with resolutions.
  • Familiarity with trouble ticket (Remedy) process and proper escalation of problems.
  • Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
  • Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical systems or process-related topics.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of users (both technical and non-technical users).
  • Must be able to document processes and procedures.
  • Position requires evening, weekend and holiday hours.


  • CompTIA is a plus but not a necessity.
