We are looking for a talented Dev Ops Manager to augment our growing Cloud Operations team, for the Responsys Marketing Cloud. The DevOPS Manager will help optimize the deployment, high availability, performance, and scalability of the Responsys Marketing Cloud infrastructure in a 24/7 x 365 production environment. This position will be the primary interface between Ops, Engineering, and Product Management.
Work cross functionally with Engineering, Production Management, and customer facing teams as required as a liason for Ops.
Analyze production problems and assesses scope of impact and communicates that impact to Product Management, to help drive application improvements.
Ensures that Operational enhancements are prioritized, with focus on ensuring that they are delivered to production.
Understand complex, highly scalable feature sets for web, and database applications
Work closely with Development, QA, Operations team to support and resolve application issues
Ensures that production releases have proper release notes and installation documentation
Identifies process gaps with current release processes. Drives the resolution with Development
Able to provide Root Cause Analysis reports for Production issues.
Manages multiple and sometimes competing priorities
Understand and be able to adopt to next generation of web applications, databases, and scalable architecture
Input on redesign of existing systems to improve scalability, quality of service, and performance
Administrate the JIRA change management system for operations
Project Management of internal operations projects
4 Years working in a prior Dev OPS role OR 4 combined experience in a startup environment (jack of all trades - Development, Support, Ops)
2 Years of project management experience
2 Years of managerial experience, managing individual contributors
Solid understanding of HTTP, Web Services, Relational Databases (Oracle, Mysql)
Understanding of architecture and development methodologies of n-tier systems
Understanding of the SaaS software model in a high availability, flexible architecture environment.
SaaS application experience, either in design or operational support.
High level of initiative and the ability to work without supervision
Possess a professional and cooperative attitude, and the ability to stay focused in high-stress situations
Nice to Have:
Previous operations experience in the role of an Application Support Engineer or Architect
Experience with RDBMS design and development experience in SQL Server.
Experience in a "continuous deployment" environment
Experience with IBM MQ
Experience with Virtual Machine technology
Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (Puppet, SVN)
Ability to create, customize, manage network management systems and monitoring tools ( Zabbix, MON)
Work with a world class team to develop, implement, and support cutting edge Oracle technology.
Manages a team maintaining and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.

Demonstrated leadership skills. Detailed knowledge of several applications within a business area needed. BA/BS degree and relevant experience.
