What you’ll be doing...
You will be a key member of the IT Customer Care Systems DevOps team responsible for strategic planning and oversight of all Cloud enablement and DevOps activities. You will lead the Cloud Migration to ensure architectural compliance and success across IT Care Application portfolio. This includes designing, developing, and managing processes necessary for AWS migration.
Develop DevOps processes, policies and procedures for Development and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team to deploy highest quality.
Set up monitoring and corresponding alert system for servers/storage using AWS Cloud watch.
Lead efforts to establish procedures for routine maintenance and compliance checks of the applications according to all standards, policies and procedures.
Engineer solutions to meet the needs of application deployment and configuration management.
Collaborate with architects and software engineers on improving software delivery, configuration, monitoring and operation.
Implement solutions such as SonarQube and Fortify to ensure the best source code is followed to mitigate security vulnerabilities
Maintain an awareness of industry and market best practices to generate ideas for ongoing systems improvements.
Work closely across development, product and support teams to build high scalability and availability processes.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in creating Amazon EC2 Cloud Instances using ansible scripts and its features; EC2 AMI, EBS Cloudwatch, IAM, and AWS S3.
Even better if you have:
Experience playing a significant role in DevOps, CM/RM, delivery automation, experience with Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, and JIRA
Experience with Anthill Pro, Team Forge, Docker.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills; understanding of project management best practices.
Mix of advanced skills in DevOps and Cloud technologies. Attention to detail, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment
3+ years of experience in setting up baselines, branching, merging, periodic backups of the source code and automation processes using shell and Perl scripts.
Extensively worked with Version Control Systems like GIT, Stash, Bitbucket, Accurev.
Strong knowledge of architectural principles of on premise and cloud environments.
Hands on experience with S3 buckets creation, IAM role based policies and customizing the JSON template.
Good knowledge in bash (shell)/Perl and groovy scripting.
Experience with relational/NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL and MongoDB.
Experience with Servlet
Experience with SONAR and HP Fortify.
