Job Description
We are seeking a talented DevOps engineer interested in building and maintaining the infrastructure to enable development of algorithm acceleration using FPGAs connected to Xeon processors.FPGAs feature dynamically configured circuits with the potential to accelerate data center workloads on the fly as they change and evolve. Our team is building the software framework and development tools enabling cloud developers to achieve world-class performance acceleration. We need a talented DevOps engineer to help build out and maintain the infrastructure for our development.In this role, engineers are responsible for developing the infrastructure needed to enable development of our software framework, acceleration tools and FPGA platforms. The scope of work includes build, machine configuration, test infrastructure and virtual machine deployment.This team is part of Intel's fast-paced and growing Programmable Solutions Group. The successful candidate must be able to work under high-performance expectations, as well as be ready to meet new challenges as they occur and inform strategy. Minimum qualifications:
3 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer.
3 years of scripting experience preferably Python.
3 years of experience with Linux / Unix administration.
2 years of experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef.
Additional desired qualifications:
Experience with deploying virtual machinesExperience with using QEMU, KVM and libvirt.
Experience with Make and / or CMake.
Experience with using FPGAs.
