Oracle Cloud Social is seeking a standout DevOps manager for a high performance engineering team. We are looking for a highly responsible natural leader who has a history of increasing responsibility and finding themselves in charge of projects.
Demonstrated leadership positions; preferably already as a DevOps manager
Experience working as a DevOps engineer; preferably on web applications or large scale systems
Strong systems architecture skills
Exceptional people skills
Nice to haves:
Experience with large scale web applications
Experience with big data applications
Experience with Ruby on Rails or a similar language and framework
MySQL and/or OracleDB knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

The Cloud Social team builds the Oracle Social Relationship Management suite of products, which helps marketers and brand managers interact with their customers on social media. Our products help large organizations manage hundreds of their social media accounts simultaneously, allowing them to understand their audience, create interest in their products, and be responsive to customer feedback without requiring an army of social media managers.
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience.
