Good understanding of Software Configuration Management practices.
BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Team Foundation Server.
Experience with InstallShield, Advanced Installer, InnoSetup or similar software.
Experience with .NET framework.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Job Overview:

The Software Configuration Management Engineer is a supportive role to the Product Development and Quality Assurance departments. The individual selected to fill this role will manage multiple product code bases dispersed across multiple branches, repositories, and TFS team projects by monitoring and enhancing the build process to meet the company's requirements. The role also entails being the author of the installation/deployment packages used by Customer Support, Professional Services, and Partners. The Software Configuration Management Engineer must quickly respond to the team's dynamically changing needs while still maintaining a high level of quality. Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills are crucial, in addition to a desire to seek out new technologies that can benefit the company.

This position is located in our Henderson, Nevada office.

Follow Software Configuration Management policies and procedures.
Manage source code for all projects.
Manage release deployment across all functional areas.
Support high-quality software build systems.
Introduce new techniques and technologies for new build systems and evolve existing systems.
Stay abreast of the latest in build technologies.
Develop build scripts and tools for builds, using most appropriate languages and technologies.
Integrate automated builds and build artifacts into test environments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools.
Develop high-quality designs and code with respect to testability, scalability, performance, security, and fault tolerance.
Develop and maintain installation solutions using established best practices.
