Position Summary

The Digital Governance team has global responsibility for minimizing corporate and brand reputational, financial and operational risk and impact related to digital media (social media, websites, eCommerce and mobile apps).The team partners closely with BIS (IT) and focuses on governance, training and awareness, incident response and monitoring. Digital Governance is part of PepsiCo Corporate Communications.

This role will have key responsibilities in the following:
  1. Maintain a digital governance dashboard in partnership with BIS
    • Track, measure and report stakeholder KPIs, third-party SLA compliance, execution compliance, and internal maturity model compliance
  2. Partner with BIS to develop and implement an incident response tracking database
    • Identify key stakeholders in incident management
    • Develop a framework for incident management and reporting
    • Create and maintain an incident tracking database
    • Manage post-mortem analysis of incidents and collect post-mortem root cause analysis
  3. Partner with BIS to help to create and maintain a best practices database
    • Develop a process to identify/capture global digital media best practices
    • Create a database to store, verify and publish best practices
  4. Support and maintain digital governance tools
    • Social media management playbook template updates
    • Identify needs for new tools


  • 4+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of social media management processes (e.g., channels, media buying)
  • Strong project management skills
  • 10% travel (Domestic and International)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong presentation, written and oral skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
Highly Preferred:
  • Experience with Social Media, Information Security and Third-party/Vendor Risk Management.
  • Technical experience in social media content management tool implementations and usage
  • Strong academic background with Master's degree

  • Basic understanding of consumer products business functions and processes
  • Social media industry trade group experience
  • Relevant certifications
  • Experience in a public company
  • Second Language (Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic)
