The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing the customer experience in our exclusive online consultant community. Coordination with our external social media coordinator and digital content strategist will be crucial. The ideal candidate would have a healthy mix of social media, content creation and customer service experience. This role will also require frequent collaboration with product, IT and operations teams.

Responsibilities: The Digital Marketing Specialist will:
  • Employ social media best practices to monitor activities within the community and interact with members to drive engagement and adoption
  • Initiate conversations that encourage users to explore new features and connect with one another in forums and user groups
  • Build and manage a content calendar specific to the exclusive community and create original content as needed
  • Build a network of community users who can be turned into brand advocates
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and product teams to define goals and KPIs and produce regular reporting
  • Work closely with the community Case Manager to triage and address customer service issues
  • Identify and report bugs to the IT/development team
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to the experience as the program expands
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to integrate marketing automation to enhance the overall experience
  • Monitor external customer inquiries in order to align experiences outside the community to those inside the community
The Specialist will also be responsible for monitoring external customer inquiries in order to align experiences outside the community to those inside the community as well as reputation management monitoring on review sites like Glassdoor, Yelp, and Google etc.

Qualifications:
  • Strong working knowledge of social media and content strategy best practices
  • Experience with email marketing or marketing automation
  • Ability to influence and shape the direction of community conversations
  • Exhibits ability to be the voice of the community and advocate on their behalf
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills and the ability to turn data into a story and make actionable recommendations to affect business outcomes
  • Minimum three years of social media or community management
  • Ability to craft unique and engaging content (writing sample is required)
  • Be adaptable and creative; enjoy solving problems and charting new territory
  • Be competent, motivated, ambitious and results driven
  • Ability to set and meet tight deadlines; Ability to multi task and manage projects without much direction
  • Effective communicator across levels and teams
  • Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback
  • 4 year college degree in Marketing, equivalent field, or equivalent experience
