Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to initially collaborate with the technology group and external vendor to ensure an effective development and smooth delivery of an exclusive digital platform to Mercer's multinational clients. Once launched the position will require the individual to be the key content manager for the platform. The main responsibility will be as the key content creator and manager of the digital platform and will require them to draw on a select group of Mercer experts who create intellectual capital for Mercer's broader client base. Ultimately the role will require constant assessment of generic and client specific material being produced by the field which would then be quickly adapted and distributed to clients via the digital platform.


Curate content by working with colleagues across Mercer
Work with internal business partners to leverage experts, content and insights across lines of business and develop client specific material for the digital platform
Create, assess existing and redirect content focused on the needs of specific clients and the services they use
Work with CMO to craft promotional campaigns, online/digital events and conversations through the digital platform
Support the content development for regional key client events throughout the year
Write and edit content for the platform
Manage and produce time critical content against an ongoing editorial plan that delivers on our value proposition and promotes engagement of HR and Finance leaders and their teams
Produce content including articles, how-tos, and POVs against the plan as well as conduct real-time events to provide immediate value and engagement.
Edit and proofread site content from internal partners to ensure suitability and with a view to publish
Set the tone and content guidelines for the Digital Platform
Create and bring to life the tone and voice of the key client community by working with the MCG CMO and developing a 2-3 year strategy
Develop procedures, policies and governance framework to ensure all content is quickly assessed and distributed to users efficiently.
Work with the platform's digital leader to implement promotional campaigns, audit blogs, and identify gaps and opportunities for engagement


Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, technical writing or a related field
Experience curating, editing and publishing digital content both online and video
3 years' experience managing or leading online content, preferably for a professional services firm or PR/marketing agency
7+ years writing
Knowledge of HR, talent, career and/or investment issues from a business/corporate perspective strongly preferred; a global mindset
Exceptional communication, proofreading and organizational skills
Understanding and working knowledge of collaboration and social media tools
Ability to absorb complex information and translate it into persuasive, relevant, messaging
Passion, agility, integrity, creativity, and energy
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, global environment
Proven ability to meet deadlines, listen, collaborate and influence others

Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office
