Digital Scrum Master / Project Manager

In this role, you will support Information Technology application delivery on Agile teams acting as a Scrum Master. You will be expected to lead and coach the team on Agile adoption including support the self-managed, advise the product owner and assist the team in removing any impediments to their success.

Responsibilities include
> Support the product owner with effective management of the product backlog
> Supporting technology teams on agile principles, practices and tools to ensure efficient delivery
> Coach the development team in self-organization and promote cross-functionality
> Assist team in planning Scrum events and Sprints
> Stay abreast of new Agile techniques, methods, and strategies
> Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed
> Work with other Scrum Masters to promote best practices and ensure productivity of team
> Assist with Project management as needed if necessary- note: this is not usually an expectation of a Scrum Master, however, the organization is still evolving.

Qualifications:
> Experience with the implementation and execution of Scrum
> Demonstrated ability to mentor scrum teams on agile practices (processes, tools, artifacts and ceremonies), assisting the team to self-organize, leading the team towards a path of continuous improvement
> Capability to build empowered teams who can operate independently
> Familiarity with quality management, organizational development, and agile principles
> Ability to motivate and inspire team members
> Ability to work across all levels of the organizations and within matrix environments
> Experience with phases of the project lifecycle
> Minimum of 2 years of Agile experience; with experience facilitating Agile teams
> Capable of working independently or in a highly collaborative environment; working with and through others
> Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational and team building skills, and business judgment
> Excellent active listening skills and facilitation skills
> Demonstrated ability to think analytically and problem solve
> College degree necessary, Masters desirable
> 2 years' experience consulting with IT organizations a plus
> Agile-Scrum certification is a plus
