The Senior Product Manager will lead the team of product managers responsible for design, development and outcomes within the Omnicare Digital product portfolio. This role will also be directly responsible for a portion of the product portfolio with a focus on Omnicare’s Assisted Living (AL) Digital pharmacy management tools. This is a great opportunity for a passionate product manager with leadership experience to develop a team and be the face of innovation and new product develop within the Omnicare and CVS Health organization.


Leadership Responsibilities

Coach/develop direct reports (product managers) through regular 1-on-1 meetings, feedback and goal setting.

Implement a product development process to focus product managers on outcomes and user experience

Business case development and quantification of results

Challenging assumptions and collaborating across the organization

Gaining buy-in both internal and external for product vision

Rallying resources through formal and informal processes to get work done

Lead the development of Omnicare Digital product strategy for annual planning and product roadmap development

Build the team as needed to support the product roadmap

Represent the Omnicare Digital team and product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Omnicare leadership, clients and prospects)

Manage the broader relationship with IT and Project Management to ensure the support and staffing for the full Omnicare Digital product pipeline


Product management Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic plans for building large-scale digital growth that substantially enhance the consumer experience and address Omnicare’s strategic and financial objectives in the AL market to include all aspects of strategy development including vision setting and refinement, strategic analysis and roadmap development in collaborative planning processes that build cross-functional, cross-business unit alignment

With the focus for Assisted Living, this role is responsible for developing both digital sales channels as well as member tools

Establish ongoing process for digital development opportunities as they arise, including opportunity evaluation as well as identification of potential business partnerships

Partner with key stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class digital experience

Set direction and create business requirements, identify information needed to make business decisions and work plans to meet business goals

Become an expert in the life of our users (internal and external) and their pharmacy workflow

Drive the scoping and definition process for new digital product concepts including business case, product specifications and prototyping

Work closely with engineering, UX, pharmacy operations, legal, marketing, customer service, PR, and executive teams to bring products to market, optimize business opportunities

Collaborate with project management, technical, creative and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product implementations

Work with adoption team to create product marketing to accurately represent product value and capabilities

Ensure appropriate testing of products prior to launch

Partner with clients to measure impact of outcomes within the client environment and workflow

Conduct product and competitive research and analysis
