The Director, BA PEH, Anti-Infectives is a key business partner who will provide analytic support as a partner to the Global PEH commercial organization. He/she is responsible for development of rigorous analytics-based market insights and business intelligence to inform optimal strategic brand and portfolio decision-making, ensure successful marketing execution, and measure performance. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the analytic partnership with the Anti Infective Leads and represent the BA community to client team. Lead identification, planning/prioritizing and execution of analyses to support strategic objectives of the AI Marketing Team. Be a strategic thought partner to leadership (Global Therapeutic area lead and Global Marketing Lead) in goal-setting, strategy development, performance measurement, and new opportunity identification/prioritization to support Strategic planning, Operating Plan, etc. Accountable for managing the global commercial market research plan and associated budget. Partnering closely with Global performance and portfolio optimization lead and the global brand Leads to determine key brand insights priorities. Synthesize actionable insights from strategic analyses and research into well-structured communications and deliver to senior management to inform decisions/investment that impact Anti Infective business goals. Lead and develop analytic solutions around internally generated data in combination with third party data sources and primary market research to enhance decisions made to maximize the large portfolio of products Leverage different secondary data sources (e.g. IMS MIDAS, internal finance data etc.) and work with large databases to derive insights and infer actions. Work effectively with client teams and other PEH, GBA team members, and partner enabling functions (e.g. Finance, PGS, Medical/Regulatory) to deliver the highest level of service. Lead cross-functional analytics teams to ensure the successful and efficient implementation of initiatives across the PEH portfolio. Proactively seek out ways to help drive value through insights from data, performance measures and primary market research QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ Years' experience in Analytics function and/or strategic consulting function Bachelor's degree required; MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred Expertise with secondary data analysis required Expertise with primary market research is required Experience in the Anti Infective & Anti Fungal therapeutic area and Ex-US markets is highly desired Experience in working with a combination of in-line (patented and off-patent) brands with launch planning experience is highly desired Ability to manage and execute simultaneously, multiple projects involving a variety of analytic techniques. Ability to quickly establish credibility with internal client-partners and to be the seen as a partner to the business with a deep expertise in analytics and delivering impactful results A critical thought leader, proactively identifying the need for specific analyses and programs, and marshaling the resources to evaluate and resolve the most challenging, strategic client issues Ability to provide structure to ambiguous situations, proactively collaborating with senior members of the commercial team to help coordinate and prioritize most critical needs Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, skilled at influencing others leveraging clear and effective frameworks Highly autonomous; results and accountability oriented.
