ACCOUNTABILITIES Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of mutual goals and objectives across strategic partners and/or customers to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members Manages the identification of trends/opportunities, and leads the development of the strategic business development direction Leads the development and presentation of market opportunity recommendations to leadership Directs the long-range forecasting and analysis associated with potential alliances/partnerships and new product opportunities 
RESPONSIBILITIES Leads a team in the pursuit and achievement of business opportunities involving current and future vendor relationships and customer accounts Leads presentations with customer's senior leadership on mission critical business factors and the advantage of utilizing service offerings Assists in the development of current and future operational and strategic plans for the Business Development team Provides work and strategic direction to project and program teams as well as direct staff Works closely with higher levels of management and across functions
