TIAA’s Production Services team manages our core infrastructure assets. Our team is responsible for design, engineering, implementation and operations of the firm’s infrastructure footprint. Production Services operations provides the first line of support on any production related issues including our network and telecommunications, computing (middleware), and end-user support, as well as the firm’s 24x7 data center operations. The Production Services team collaborates closely with our business-aligned partners in technology and with key stakeholders across the enterprise.
As a Senior Director, Senior Lead Infrastructure Manager you will be primarily responsible for all aspects involved in delivering TIAA’s public cloud infrastructure services and platforms as a strategic hosting service for the firm’s application workloads. In collaboration with other technical domains the responsibilities will include the engineering and implementation of a hybrid cloud strategy for the firm spanning strategy, engineering, implementation, on-boarding and operational functions. A primary goal of this role is also to lead a team of technologists to drive cloud on-boarding and adoption across the enterprise by optimizing cloud benefits, and commercially managing costs, while collaborating with other technology, application development and business functions across the firm to expand and establish the firm’s cloud hosting capabilities.
