Our Product Managers are data-driven decision makers that own their domain. They draw insights from qualitative and quantitative sources with the goal of defining features for our future products. Responsibilities

  • Is eBay’s thought leader on CRM product vision

  • Motivates and energizes the team by defining a clear and inspiring “Vision” and ‘Values’ for the CRM product.

  • Leads a team of 15 product managers across multiple geographies; Responsible for the sourcing and hiring of new team members; constantly raising the talent bar

  • Creates strong partnerships with the Regions, Marketing, Legal, Ops, Customers, Engineering, QE, Design and other key partners and stakeholders

  • Sets and defines strategy for the Product including campaigns, science, content,  and targeting

  • Proactively optimizes and ensures the health of the product via daily review of KPI/ metrics and monthly health checks; Ensures high-quality campaigns and leads the team through crisis when there are p1s.

  • Represents product externally while partnering with product marketing and public relations.

  • Ruthlessly prioritizes and prunes the backlog taking into account multiple dimensions like customer value, effort and risk.  Defines the right balance between short and long term objectives and reflects that in the backlog.

  • Makes rapid decisions based on thin sliced customer value

  • Builds influence across eBay product organization to drives towards customer vision, e.g. championing a user preference center.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of product delivery; CRM product experience required:: e.g. ESP, Targeting, Data Science, CMS, Notifications, Email

  • Demonstrated customer marketing acumen.

  • Record of building high trust relationships with engineers. Technical enough to gain their trust.

  • Creating and cultivating networks of people across a global and matrixed organization. Ability to influence the network.

  • Candidate should be comfortable with executive-level presentations and influence as well as diving deeper into problem-solving with team.

  • Analytical data-driven mindset needed.  Business mindset to partner on how to drive the business needed.
