The Director, Oncology Field Operations, will work with Oncology senior leaders to identify and maximize operational processes to achieve organizational goals related to Oncology sales. She/He develops strategies to work with our internal and external partners to optimize business processes. This individual works directly with Oncology field sales management for flawless implementation and execution.
The goal of the Director, Oncology Field Operations, is to support, develop and implement franchise operational capabilities for Oncology field sales and align operational support from internal business partners. This will allow for maximum impact on Oncology field sales and customer populations.
The Director establishes operational work streams for supporting the national Oncology field sales organization including: Deployment, Incentive Compensation, Field Reporting, IT, Performance Metrics / Dashboards, Short & Long Term Curriculum Planning with SL&D, CSO Management, Field Business Planning, and POA Meeting. The Director will also enhance customer engagement through operational process and best practices.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. 7 or more years of cross functional experience in key commercial roles (i.e. Sales, In-Line Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access / Payor Marketing, Analytics, Business Development) is required. Experience beyond solely Sales and Sales Learning & Development is preferred. 3 or more years of leading teams (managing managers) experience is strongly preferred. The selected candidate must possess strong analytical and strategic thinking and planning abilities. The selected candidate must work well in a matrix environment without direct line authority. The selected candidate must be able to influence thinking amongst senior leaders and possess excellent communication skills. The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles. The selected candidate must demonstrate capabilities and traits for career path versatility to progress to other key roles. This position is located in Horsham, Pennsylvania and may require up to 30% travel.
