Director, Global B2B Product Marketing

The Director will lead planning and execution of B2B / B2D marketing programs for products and services offered through Visa's Developer Platform. The Director will work with product, technology, sales and agency partners to plan and execute marketing programs. He or she will
serve as a global steward of the program but also have responsibility to liaise with a defined region team. Demonstrating creativity, initiative and collaboration, he / she will be comfortable with ambiguity and a rapidly growing program, and will be able to drive clarity as needed. The Director will be able to strategize and also quickly roll-up his / her sleeves to implement the plan. He / she will be part of a small high performing team and will report directly into the VP of Technology and Innovation Marketing.


• Use research to refine actionable audience segments and identify key insights to influence B2B / B2D messaging and positioning
• Continuously contribute to refining B2B / B2D messaging and positioning
• Work with Corporate Communications to support media opportunities related to Visa Developer
• Demonstrate success of your programs using quantitative and qualitative measures
Content Strategy & Development
• Create and execute against annual content strategy to drive awareness and adoption of Visa products, services and solutions offered through Visa Developer - from success stories and white papers to interactive demos and other innovative content types
• Work closely with agencies and cross-functional partners (sales, product, technology) to produce relevant content on an ongoing basis
• Work with channel owners (owned, earned & paid) to develop and execute effective always-on and campaign-driven content distribution and associated measurement approach to achieve objectives

• Develop and maintain Visa Developer event toolkit; provide training and support to regional teams
• Build a global event plan, coordinate with all regional teams to drive inclusion of Visa Developer at every event where Visa has a presence and identifying new events where Visa should have a presence (industry, trade, meet-ups, etc.)
• Lead the activation of Visa Developer at 5 major global events during the year
• Track and monitor event plan over the year, highlighting major wins, measuring success and sharing results and learnings across leadership and regions to encourage constant improvement

Regional Activation
• Be main Visa Developer marketing liaison for one of Visa's 5 regions - sharing and driving adoption of global strategy and assets, understanding and supporting regional objectives, and ultimately driving global reach and success of Visa Developer

  • 8-10 years of marketing and specific skills in content creation (video, ads, social, etc.)
  • 3+ years' hands-on B2B product marketing experience including sales enablement, events and lifecycle marketing
  • Strong creative and writing skills. Ability to guide the creative and editorial process
  • Strong organization, persuasion and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; ensure high quality deliverables
  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • A passion for innovation, testing / learning and trying new things
  • An understanding of payments landscape is a plus
  • B.A. degree in Marketing, Business or Communications, or equivalent experience
