Current Need

McKesson Corporate is seeking a Director, HR Communications, to join their team.

 
Position Description
  • Works closely with HR clients to build clear communications strategies tied to business priorities, including the Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, Benefits/Compensation, and HR other teams. 
  • Designs and implements enterprise-level HR campaigns to increase awareness of key HR-driven programs and initiatives that shape the employee experience and impact engagement.
  • Collaborates with Corporate Communications colleagues and communicators across McKesson to promote enterprise-wide, HR-related communications.
  • Coaches and guides HR clients on communications best practices, strategies and processes.
  • Quickly evaluates and capitalizes on timely HR communications opportunities.
  • Continually incorporates the latest technologies and best practices to amplify HR communications.
 
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with HR clients to design and implement enterprise-level HR strategies and campaigns to increase awareness of the employee value proposition and support greater employee engagement
  • Lead HR Communications team to ensure members:
    • Understand the correlation of their work to the company’s business and communication objectives
    • Carry out their work in accordance with defined success metrics
    • Have opportunities to develop professional and leadership skills
  • Collaborates with Corporate Communications colleagues and communicators across McKesson to promote enterprise-wide, HR-related communications
  • Coaches and guides HR clients on communications best practices, strategies and processes

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
8+ years of marketing experience including 5+ years managerial experience

Critical Skills
  • 8 years specific Communications experience, in Advertising or  Corporate Marketing
  • Strong experience around Web Communications with Social Media, SharePoint, etc. 
  • Experience with all stages of content creation: research, reporting, interviewing, writing, editing, production, and publishing
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications, presentation, proofreading and editing skills
  • Skilled in working with senior leaders and leading through influence
  • Experience managing a team and producing content in a deadline-driven environment
  • Understanding of HR programs and field
  • Metrics analytics skills, measuring the success of the campaigns
 

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Healthcare background

Education
4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
