Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting experienced candidates for a Business Development Director job near Pittsburgh, PA for our client, a growing pharmaceutical supplier to healthcare and long term care facilities. The Director of Business Development identifies strategic opportunities to enhance the growth of the client's pharmacy business through strategic business development plans and is responsible for setting the direction and driving growth through existing and emerging markets. Travel throughout Western Pennsylvania conducting sales calls, presentations, and developing business will be required. This position offers a base salary of between $40,000 - $50,000 per year and a bonus/commission plan. A generous benefits package is also available including insurance, mileage reimbursement and more.
Responsibilities for the Director of Business Development Job near Pittsburgh, PA include:
Develops, directs and identifies new markets for potential development opportunities.
Analyzes individual market dynamics, size, barriers to entry, technologies, key contacts, competitors, options, etc.
Develops new market initiatives and analyzes business opportunities to increase market share.
Provides vision and leadership in establishing long-term plans for the continued development of business unit
Will oversee business attraction, retention and expansion opportunities in assigned business unit.
Provides vital input in short and long-term strategic and operational planning and positioning within the Company.
Spearheads business development initiatives that are consistent with the Company's overall strategy.
Manages multiple business initiatives in a start-up environment and Revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and management.
Five or more years of experience in sales and business development experience in the healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy or long-term care environment.
A Bachelors' degree in Business, Marketing, or related field from a four-year college or university is required.
Goal-oriented, self-directed and able to manage time, achieve sales goals, and achieve market penetration.
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Able to travel throughout Western PA as necessary
