Director of Event Planning

The Director of Event Planning position will oversee Event Service and Banquet Department. This position reports to Director of Sales, Marketing & Events and will be responsible for Events Forecasting, Banquet Scheduling, Meeting Planner satisfaction and Revenue Generation.
Working closely with the Operations team, the Director of Event Planning will ensure that group events are handled in accordance to Park Hyatt Brand Standards.

In addition, the following areas of responsibility will fall under this position:
  • Maintain integrity of Hyatt systems
    o EMS
    o EAS
    o Group Bill
    o Social Tables
    o Clover
    o HotSOS/ECA
  • Create solid Vendor relationships
  • Financials:
  • Monthly reforecast
  • Events Revenue
  • F&B Expenses
  • Event Services and Set Up payrolls
  • Run Monthly Department meetings for Banquets and Events
