A Director of Regional Accounts Development job in Dallas, TX is now available through Adecco Medical and Science. Primary responsibility of this position is to provide regional leadership in achieving the company's mission, goals, and "Strategic Selling" strategy while creating and enhancing hearing implant clinic relationships within the region such that they result in a more profitable regional business. This will require the provision of day-to-day support, training, and related supervisory responsibilities to the regional team members in achieving their objectives and extensive travel to clinics in order to sustain relationships with customers in the field. This is a full time, permanent position. 25-35% travel will be involved.
Manage the Clinical and Surgical Senior Account Managers, Account Managers, and Account Associates for region
Clearly and consistently articulate priorities and policies
Assessment of needs and recruitment of talent
Team member training, performance feedback, and coaching for continuous improvement
Provide coaching and guidance to the regional team in managing the budget and provide feedback to the organization on challenges, needs, and issues.
Ensure that the regional team understands and follows corporate policies and procedures in achieving sales objectives
Provide leadership and coaching in "burrowing" into the hearing implant purchasing decision process with regional accounts to intimately know the key decision making components
Plan, develop, and execute the regional budget
Design, plan, develop, and conduct initiatives to maintain and/or enhance regional hearing implant center satisfaction and take ownership for the resolution of regional customer complaints
With the assistance of the Finance and Reimbursement departments work to improve the understanding and financial performance of the regional hearing implant centers
Work with the CEO, Director of Education and Communication, and other Regional Directors to improve cross-functional teamwork, consistency, and mutual continuous improvement
Work with the CEO and other Regional Directors to sponsor and implement regional sales initiatives while collaborating in national efforts
Work with the CEO and other Regional Directors to improve regional and company-wide financial performance
Work with the leadership team to provide strategic guidance to the entire organization.
Manage non-research surgical staff supporting regional clinics.
Manage regional surgeon relationships and to provide feedback to the organization
Work with the CEO and other Regional Directors to sponsor and implement regional marketing strategies/campaigns while collaborating in national efforts
Gather customer feedback to develop messaging and guide local marketing effort
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in an area related to hearing disorders, hearing health care
10 years of experience in the hearing implant field
Must have supervisory experience
Must have sales/account development experience
