The Director, Organizational Strategy & Effectiveness is responsible for leading the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness strategies to support the organizational transformation planned for US OTC.  This will include ownership and coordination of Organizational Design activities as part of harmonization/integration plans for US OTC.    
The Director will be responsible for: 
Managing all activities related to organizational design strategy in coordination with E2E Supply Chain (SC) Leadership and HR considering key aspects related to talent attraction and retention, knowledge transfer and change management
Leading the Organizational Effectiveness Workstream of the SC Excellence Program for US OTC, which includes development of culture development activities across the organization, development of a strategy for knowledge transfer and capability building as well as ownership for the integrated communications plan for US OTC
Leading and developing a core team of people engaged in supporting organizational effectiveness activities and lead specific activities as part of the US OTC agenda
Responsible for coordination of all organizational effectiveness elements (i.e. framework, OE surveys, cultural assessments)
Promotes the development of core methodologies aligned with corporate resources to drive consistent implementation across US OTC
Owns development and implementation of Activity Based Management model for US OTC  
Aligns OE strategies with the Consumer and Enterprise supply chain teams
Facilitates development of the Organizational Design model for US OTC E2E SC, building on harmonization model developed by the Quality Organization
Manages planning and ongoing governance for US OTC staffing
Responsible for coordinating periodic organizational design reviews with all stakeholders
Engages with other functional leads in driving development of organizational models in alignment with JJSC and Consumer methodologies
Facilitates development and implementation of the Integrated Communications Plan for US OTC E2E SC including the communications framework for SC Excellence
Manages the development of the integration lead roles at the sites and home office 
Promotes use of consistent methodologies for communication, leveraging consulting support
Supports E2E improvement programs

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, an advanced degree such as an MBA, MA or MS is preferred
A minimum of ten (10) years of operations and/or quality leadership experience is required
A minimum of three (3) years of People Management and/or People Development experience is required 
Experience in a GMP or FDA regulated industry is required
Experience in deployment of OE methodologies is required 
Strong knowledge of activity based management models is preferred
Previous Leadership roles in Operations (Manufacturing /Engineering / Planning) or Procurement / Finance and/or Quality & Compliance in pharmaceutical, Consumer product, Medical Device or cosmetics industries is required
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive new strategies is required 
Experience with Change Management is required 
Knowledge of manufacturing systems and processes, including GMP requirements for medical device/pharmaceutical industry is preferred 
Consent Decree experience is preferred 
Travel may require up to 20% of the time (domestically)
