Position Summary:
Director of nurse-midwifery practice at RMC. Manages all aspects of practice including HR, Budget, Marketing, Community outreach, and operations. Clinical component of position: Provides safe, satisfying, cost-effective nurse-midwifery care to all women in the ANM Caseload in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Qualifications:
Position Requirements:

Licensure / Certification / Registration
RN license in the State of Colorado. Compact license acceptable but must obtain Colorado state license within 90 days of hire, and Advanced Practice Registration
American College of Nurse-Midwives Certification
Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification current

Education:
Graduate of an ACNM Accredited Nurse-Midwifery Program
Master's degree required
MBA preferred

Experience:
Management of nurse-midwifery practice preferred
Recent CNM experience in a full scope practice
Prefer teaching or precepting experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Management and operations skills
Excellent clinical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Possesses the ability to interact in a positive manner with clients, physicians, and all nursing and ancillary staff
Possesses the ability to teach, evaluate, and provide feedback to nursing, nurse-midwifery, medical students and residents.
