General Statement of Duties:
The Director is responsible for all aspects of department services and will ensure that care is provided in accordance with the standards of the organization and with conditions of participation, requirements, or regulations of JCAHO, Medicare, Medicaid, and appropriate licensing, or certification Boards. Develops and implements the annual Operating and Capital budgets. Responsible for therapy practices, quality, personnel management and financial management. Responsible for communicating expectations of the organization to employees, participating in decision making for the organization as a whole; promoting standardization and consolidation of services between facilities to ensure economical, high quality care.
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology. 5 years of experience practicing as a therapist. Five years management experience. Experience managing multiple areas is desirable.
Minimum License and Certificates Required:
Must be licensed to practice in State of Texas
