SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:
The Director of Shared Services Process and Service Management will develop and implement the strategic plan for delivering sustained continuous improvement across Sysco’s Shared Services organization. This role helps maintain a strong service management system that connects performance management, customer relationship management, and process improvement, and provides strategic direction and leadership to identify and eliminate the causes of critical business process related issues.
Performance and Execution: Ensure execution of long-term improvement initiatives and programs, aligning process, people and technology to meet aggressive business objectives. Identify solutions to improve business processes through Lean Management, Six Sigma methodologies, Process Re-engineering and Automation. Analyze efficiency and effectiveness of Shared Services functions/business processes. Utilize metrics to demonstrate and communicate Shared Services value and offerings.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communications: Develop and implement communications strategy to engage stakeholders, build alignment on cross-functional projects and increase customer service satisfaction. Create and deliver executive communications and presentations. Maintain portfolio of reporting measures and metrics that are meaningful to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Direct the implementation and continued development of the Continuous Improvement Program. Build organizational capability and a culture of continuous improvement across the Shared Services organization. Create plans to energize associates around continuous improvement initiatives. Integrate new digital technology in improvement solutions.
Leadership: Lead team of Business Process professionals that identify, plan, design and execute continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and engage high performing, agile work team.
