Director, Surgical Process - Global Strategic Marketing, Knee

The Director, Surgical Process will lead the marketing for knee surgical process, as well as the enabling technology strategy for both hips and knees. This is a critical role as we look to transform joint procedures for outcomes and cost, and evaluate new innovations to change how we deliver care. 
The Director, Surgical Process will:
  • Lead in developing Insights /VOC and identify unmet needs around enabling technologies, instruments and services.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross functional teams (R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Clinical, HEMA, Regions, etc.) to drive the development and launch of Product Instrument Line extensions and enabling technologies including: Navigation, TruMatch, Single Use Instruments, Anatomic Alignment, Other innovative technologies.
  • Build new capabilities for Data Analytics, Automation and next generation navigation
  • Integrate Hip platform needs for enabling technologies
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of product directors & APD
  • Lead the team on business model disruption and driving toward future success by meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Achieving growth by innovating solutions that deliver improved clinical & economic value to patient, physician, provider, payer and policy maker supported by appropriate evidence and service while managing an intensifying regulatory environment.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; An MBA is preferred. 
  • A minimum ten (10) years of relevant Marketing experience is required.
  • Experience in Product Management and Product Launch experience is required.
  • Global Experience is preferred.
  • Experience & competency in using consumer insights and analytics to develop Brand Strategy, Marketing Plans and translating these into consistent execution plans is required
  • People management experience is required.
  • Experience in surgical technology is preferred.
  • The ability to interpret and communicate complex business data is required.
  • Strong experience and working knowledge of financial / profitability metrics is required.
  • Strong ability to communicate and negotiate effectively is required.
  • The ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/priorities is required.
  • Business and financial acumen along with strong analytical skills are required.
  • Up to 40% travel, domestic and international may be required.
  • For candidates who are within commuting distance but can still be based out of the following locations: Raynham, MA, Warsaw, IN or Leeds, UK, we are open to a flexible work arrangement to assist with longer commutes.
