Director, Technical Systems Operations

Director Typically accountable for a team of 15-30 technical associates who perform in a production environment and are accountable for configuring systems to enable credit and marketing systems to select, market, and decision financial products.

  • Manage DevOps engineering to deliver technology
    solutions in support of business strategy and growth 
  • Manage a portfolio of DevOps technologies that
    support software being built to support technology automation for Storage, Backups and Operating system in the public cloud as well as on-premises
  • Mentor, coach and lead developers in using
    automation, configuration and container tooling 
  • Partner and influence enterprise organizations in the
    evolution of shared DevOps technologies 
  • Engage in product discussions, influence the DevOps
    capabilities roadmap, and guide technical direction 
  • Evolve an agile delivery model that builds on a very
    collaborative, open and rapid interaction between intent providers and
    technology execution 
  • Work with stakeholders in the Technologyorganization to identify and define the next generation DevOps opportunities
    and drive a game changing Home Loans strategy driven by technology 
  • Build AWS practices and implementations for non production and production environments; lead non-production environment management 
  • Commit features and code to the open source projects; develop
    proofs of concept and prototypes for new technologies and products 
  • Deliver infrastructure changes in support of complex
    application development projects 
  • Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead the best DevOps engineeringtalent and enable our diverse, inclusive and customer centric culture

Basic Qualifications: -

  • Graduate Degree or military experience –
  • At least 3 years experience with object-oriented programming and design
  • At least 3 years experience in developing applications
  • At least 3 years experience building, leading, mentoring and developing high performing software engineering projects and teams –
  • At least 2 years experience delivering DevOps solutions and technologies –
  • At least 1 year experience leading a DevOps team


-Graduate Degree in Engineering and Computer Science fields or military experience

- 3 years of experience leveraging and managing public cloud - AWS

- 2 years of experience with Agile development methodologies

- 2 years of experience mentoring and teaching technical concepts

- 2 years of experience in virtualization and containerization

- 2 years of experience leveraging automation tooling, Anisble, Docker, Vagrant and Chef
